Whitton our Ginger Cat - still Fit at 16 - in our Garden (2004)

Whitton, our dear old cat, in May 2004 - aged 16 and a half - before he was as weak as he is about one year later in 2005. He is surveying the scene between our back garden and our neighbours' (or Jack their cat's). He's putting out the signal: "I am in charge here - but very laid back." Since then, poor old Whitton has been treated for heart and kidney disease, and very recently an abdominal lymphoma, for which he is having chemotherapy - 3 or 4 pills a day (Including his ealier condition) and weekly 'jabs'. He is expected to survive for a few months of this summer, maybe making it to his 18th birthday in early September. We will allow him this if his quality of life remains almost as good as it was here. Just now he is only beginning to recover from his recent first instalments of intensive "chemo" treatment.
